- Payout = number of members × monthly share. Everyone receives the same payout once.
- The circle runs for as many months as there are members, and you pay your share every month, including the month you receive.
- An early turn works like an interest-free loan: you get the money first and pay it back over the remaining months. A late turn works like saving: you pay in first and collect at the end.

How much do I get from a jam’iya?

Multiply the number of members by the monthly share. With 10 members paying 1,000 each, every member receives 10,000 once. You also pay 10,000 in total, so there’s no profit or loss.
Which turn is best?

An early turn is best if you need money now, for example to clear a debt or pay a deposit. A late turn is best if you want forced saving. Taking a middle turn gives you a bit of both.
What happens if someone stops paying?

That’s the main risk, because the circle runs on trust. Join circles with people you know, agree on the order and the dates in writing, and keep a record of every payment.
Should I count my share as a bill or as savings?

Until your turn, it works like savings. After your turn, it works like a loan repayment. Either way, budget for it as a fixed monthly payment so it never surprises you.
